Coretta Scott King Book Award Winners

Each winter (either January or February), the Coretta Scott King Book Awards are given to outstanding African American authors and illustrators of books for children and young adults that demonstrate an appreciation of African American culture and universal human values.

EmbraceRace

EmbraceRace was founded in early 2016 by two parents (one Black, the other multiracial Black/White) who set out to create the community and gather the resources they needed (need!) to meet the challenges they face raising children in a world where race matters. Their team has since grown and consists of many partner organizations, researchers, community members and consultants.

This is an amazing website which includes multiple articles, webinars, action guides, children's books.
